Story behind
BOUNCE
Graffiti artist
Taiwan Graffiti Artist Bounce, who has been making graffiti arts for 16 years, is the first Taiwanese to bring this popular form of art to the international stage. From the beginning of his career as a painter-storyteller under bridges, he has turned into an adventurer in the city forest. The artist has now traveled throughout the globe, making history with his paint cans. Bounce, who integrates beauty with rebellion, always challenges viewers with a different level of experience. Asked about his art, Bounce said: “although my thoughts change with the environment and my fictional characters keep evolving, my original passion for graffiti has not changed at all. In the future, I won’t place any limits on myself and will try out different styles and media.
DESIGN CONCEPT
For the 2020 Chinese Zodiac keyboard
Ducky is honored to collaborate with Bounce to bring everyone a truly memorable art piece. Nowadays, graffiti art is no longer seen as a sneaky creative process, but a way to deliver one's opinions, attitude and will power in a bold and brave manner.
The Year of the Rat is based on the newest version of Ducky's hot-swap keyboard. It represents the attitude of refusing to be limited by challenges.

ART DESIGN
Dye-sublimation techniques featuring various graffiti elements
The artist has left his graffiti characters on the keycaps. Which look like they're on a brick wall, to the green mist arising from the keycaps. This allows him to hide and wittily contrasts the color around the mist. Above the mist, there are some familiar traffic symbols, aiding “Bounce Mouse” for his sense of direction when he travels and paints during the night.

The Year of the Rat keyboard is based on the newest version of Ducky's hot-swap keyboard.
Hot swapping is the replacement or addition of components to a computer system without stopping, shutting down, or rebooting the system.
